Beautifully restored class act! by Kerri G. at InsiderPages
The Davenport is stunning and provides the excellent service one would expect from such a grand hotel. We stayed there shortly after they opened after the remodel in 2004. They upgraded us to a Jr Suite for a very minimal cost. The beds are so comfortable, that we ordered one!

Davenport Candy Shoppe by Allen B. at InsiderPages
Located in the renovated Davenport Hotel, this is the place to go for chewy, tasty peanut brittle. They are very friendly and have a nice selection of treats at very reasonable prices

Fabulous Restored Hotel by ELLYN Z. at InsiderPages
The Davenport is a hotel that you have to see to believe. You can get a taste of gandeur from 100 years ago. The restoration is fabulous and the rooms are wonderful but, the Sunday Brunch is completely decadent. Sometimes sunday brunches can be a family free for all but, all the families at this brunch were very well behaved.

One of the nicest hotels ever! by Jeffrey B. at InsiderPages
The Davenport was finally rebuilt into a classic. This hotel was once Spokane's grand lady, but fell into disrepair, and then was vacant for decades. About four years ago, it was reopened as a luxury hotel. I had to come stay here, because of the history it has had with Spokane, just to see. There is only one word to describe what it was like: Wow!!! This has to be one of the finest hotels on the west coast. Exquisite detail turns it into Spokane's grand lady once again. You will be treated well by the wait staff, will have access to all the best amenities, and will have a comfortable night's sleep. This is the place to go if you are willing to shell out the money in Spokane.

Should be a Five Star Hotel!
My family has stayed in some really nice hotels around the U.S. We usually enjoy staying in 4 or 5 star hotels. One of our stays was at the Waldorf Astoria in Manhatten. This hotel, the Davenport Tower, is comparable to the Waldorf as far as service. Actually, the Davenport's is better. The average age of the workers we could see at the Davenport was 22 years old; yet, they behaved more professionally and sincerely than people much older in some of these 4 star hotels or even 5 stars. The workers at the Waldorf had a certain "air" to them, which is totallly unnecessary in order to give great service, as proven at the Davenport. The Davenport was recently rennovated and its decor and very contemporary amenities were to die for! I'd come back in a heartbeat to this place. In fact, we are planning a golf trip to Spokane next year!
